Bathroom equipment required to assist the physically challenged are not usually covered by insurance companies.  The exception in Hawaii is usually the Medicaid programs.  We suggest that patient's contact their insurance companies for further coverage information on their specific policy. There is one exception honored by most all insurance companies which is the bedside commode with specific documentation. Medicaid programs usually require a pre-authorization.

The Invacare All-in-One Aluminum Commode can be used bedside, or with backrest removed it can act as a toilet safety frame or raised toilet seat. The aluminum frame is lightweight and users gain additional comfort and support from the 14" wide seat. 350 ib. weight capacity.
